First of all, let me say that I'm a beginner, and aspiring to becoming a mediocre enthusiast; nothing more. I wouldn't know a great guitar if someone cracked it over my head. That being said, I like this little combo package. It doesn't have a lot of 'wow' packed in with it, but it delivers notes, and does so very well. The guitar is well made and well finished. Sure, the travel case is thin plastic; for 200 bones I didn't expect anything fancy. If I had paid the full price, I would probably have been a little disappointed. If you're looking to start playing guitar, or have a family member you'd like to buy one for, this is a nice starter at a good price.
