My daughter loves this guitar! The wood is beautiful and it's a real guitar, not a toy-- It holds the tuning and has decent strings, not plastic. I know nothing about guitars but my daughter wanted one for her 10th birthday, so I researched online what size I should get. When I ordered it I felt like I should cross my fingers! But the 3/4 size is perfect for an average 10 yr old, even for a few more years. The fact that it's a nice instrument makes it fun for her to practice. I also bought a kids' beginner guitar course book w/ cd and she went thru that in 1 day, but she's had piano and violin.
