This guitar played well in a local shop, and an out of state relative bought this for my daughter from Amazon. It arrived quickly from Amazon. There was no padding or protection in the original packaging, and the original packaging was not protected either. The original packaging was battered and torn. The lacquer and finish on the guitar are chipped where the neck is joined to the body, and on closer inspection the neck is actually pulling away from the body. This is a terrible way to ship a guitar. Because the neck is not secure, the guitar will not stay tuned at all and the action at the upper frets is too high even for me. I am working with Daisy Rock directly to rectify the situation.
