Good for the money is the obvious refrain, but this is also a solid, well-built guitar. The amp is plenty loud enough to annoy the neighbors when you practice. A nice kit for starting out. Later on you can decide whether you're going to stick with it and get something nicer, or whether it was a temporary pastime.
