I wanted an acoustic guitar along with my electric guitars yet Im not too enthusiastic about acoustic so I didnt wanna spend alot of money for one. What a mistake to take the chances with this esp after reading so many other bad reviews. This extremely cheap feelin guitar cant even play right no matter how much time you spend tuning it. The strings are not only incapable of being tuned but are too far off the fretboard! THis can literally not be played. I actually gave this to my young cuzin as a toy basically and I think its broke by now. Not cause of him but how could a guitar like this last in anyones hands? The description calls this a "Satin" finish guitar when in reality (at least the one I received) was SUPER glossy. I posted photos to show the difference.

Also, the product photo shows a much lighter color than what I received. The front of the guitar is darker and a richer, redder tone than it shows here and the sides are even a deeper color. Honestly, I like it a lot better than the one in the product photo.

The tuner knobs and the metal parts around them are gorgeous. (Again, I posted a photo with more detail.) I don't know if the way it's manufactured is a good or bad way of mounting and engineering the tuning keys but I love the way they look. We tuned the guitar and it's been holding so far.

My son (13 y.o.) was playing my full size guitar and having a lot of trouble getting his fingers around the neck and his right arm/elbow in a comfortable position. This 3/4 size is perfect for him.

I have several Taylor guitars, and have owned a Big Baby for several years. I own several travel guitars (including the Martin) and the Taylor is the only one that sounds like a real guitar. Another reviewer suggests her Taylor doesn't stay in tune, but also mentions it was damaged in transit. My Big Baby is used for Youth Group bible study and has sat out on a stand for years and I can say it rarely needs retuning unless it's played a lot and hard. Then again, I maintain a consistent relative humidity in my house. Bottom line, it's a quality though relatively inexpensive instrument. You're not going to find anything any better in this price range. Like any wood instrument it will be impacted by changes in temperature and humidity.

How small is it? Well, it's smallish, yet very playable. If the person playing it is on the smaller side it is a perfect size. Far better than trying to play my Taylor full-size dreadnought.

As far as the Swift commemorative design, that is a matter of taste. The regular Baby Taylor is a bit boring looking, as all of the effort was put into making a quality product as inexpensive as possible. I personally think the Swift looks nice. And if Swift's meteoric rise in popularity doesn't go to her head, this model may be desirable some day. Valencia CG-150K Left Handed Acoustic Guitar Package Decide Now

I've been playing guitar for over 6 years now; when I first started, I was told to learn how to play right-handed, even though I am left-handed. It was difficult and progress was slow.

I decided to buy this Valencia guitar to ease into playing left-handed, and there is no doubt that the quality of the guitar has been instrumental (pun intended...) in my fast learning. This is the fourth guitar that I own. I own two right-handed electric guitars and one right-handed acoustic, aside from this Valencia.

This Valencia guitar plays better than all of my other guitars; I've been using it for about 8 months, and there are many pros and very few cons. It is solid, I don't have to worry about it breaking. The finish is very nice and is durable; I use this guitar to learn flamenco and it stands up to a lot of abuse from fingernails. After the first week of tuning the guitar, my Valencia keeps an accurate tuning longer than my other guitars, even better than my $800 flying V guitar. After playing the guitar every day for a month, it only needs minor tuning adjustments.

The only con to this guitar is that it definitely does not have high-quality sound. The sound is neither clear nor crisp like my other acoustic guitar; there is a lot of "twang" or "buzz" from the strings, and using a capo is sometimes difficult as it makes all the strings extra twangy. If the capo isn't in a certain position, I can't actually play a clear open note. But for the price, the sounds are good enough for me to learn the songs, knowing that once seasoned I can move on to another guitar and get better quality sound.

Anyone who wants to get into guitar, I would 100% definitely suggest one of these Valencia guitars. And after a LOT of shopping online and locally, I think this is the best guitar and price.

I purchased this guitar for a 2 year old specifically because he wanted a guitar with a strap.
While this guitar is not ideal for actually playing music since the strings wont stay tuned, it was really just for holding and pretending to 'rock out'. It came with the flimsy gig bag and other accessories but the fact that this instrument does not have a peg on the bottom on which i could actually attach the strap, renders it basically unusable- unless of course i drop another 8 or 9 dollars on the peg at a guitar store, and install it myself. For a $45.00 guitar, we know that Dean isn't gonna put a lot of time, and detail into this instrument, with that being said, my only complaint is that the action is a little high for a beginner. Maybe the extremely light strings will makeup for that. On the other hand the strings will break rather easily, so make sure your child doesn't over turn the tuning pegs, or the strings will break.

I got this guitar in black color. It worked out great for my 6 year old. He is crazy about his guitar and plays it all the time.

Here are the pro's:
- Right size and weight for a child

The con's:
- In the beginning it needed frequent tuning
- The amp is not very powerful

Purchase Seagull S6 Original Acoustic Guitar

I bought this guitar in 2005. It sounds and looks wonderful and manages to stay that way. I think this is a good guitar and when you think that something that might sound better would cost three to four times as much it is a great guitar for the value.

This model has the cedar top. I love that sound vs the more typical spruce top on flattop guitars. It is a bit more mellow and has a hint of a classical guitar tone because of that. If you prefer the bright concert sound of a Martin then you'll not want this cedar top.

Yes this guitar has an oiled finish. This allows the soundboard to really sing unimpeded. It also allows you to knock the heck out of it. Funny thing is that after five years there isn't much damage just a little arm wear. I think you'll like this guitar enough to not knock it around.

The neck feels silky smooth. The frets are well placed and don't stab you by hanging over the neck a little which is what you'll get in other guitars in this price range. Paying to get the frets filed down is an additional expense on those competitors so beware when comparing.

This doesn't come with a case so I bought a hard shell by the brand name "Canadian". Great case.

When I bought it it really didn't need an adjustment but I took it to a local shop to make it perfect for me. I've also taken it in every other year for setting the action - checking and tweaking the neck - and getting the frets polished. I also use a humidifier in its case during the winter months in Chicago. Any Silvertone acoustic guitar is not worth the money. These guitars are low quality. When I play anything, it is hard to hear it since the sound of it is very deep and mellow. Also, the action on it was TERRIBLE. It was so hard to play a power chord in drop D on the 1st and 2nd frets. It left marks on your fingers since you needed so much force to press the strings down. Also, there was a lot of fret buzz on the 1st fret of the E and A string. Lastly, the guitar does not say in tune because the tuners were loose all time (even if I tightened them).

I would not recommend this to anyone. Trust me, you can get way, way better guitars for only $20 more.
