Shop For Epiphone LP Standard Plus-Top Les Paul Collection Electric Guitar, Trans Amber

I've had one of these amber Les Pauls for several years now. Mine has Grover tuners on it, but it's the same axe. It's an excellent value- construction is very good and so is the fit and finish. Looks sharp too. Mine has cream binding and amber skirted knobs, although they are not vintage correct. I would recomend this axe to anyone looking a for a Les Paul style guitar. The crappy stock strings should be replaced right away with some decent ones- I use Ernie Ball Slinkys... I also replaced the stock pickups- they are muddy and un-focused. Inexperinced players may be quite satisfied with them. Warning: If you replace any parts you will void the warranty!!! That's okay. Just take it to a guitar shop and have them set the intonation on the guitar-that's kind of tricky to do yourself. Some good strings and you've got yourself a pretty good LP- better than the cheap ones all over the internet. It's not a Gibson, but it's not $3,ooo.oo either...Get more detail about Epiphone LP Standard Plus-Top Les Paul Collection Electric Guitar, Trans Amber.
