For Years I have played Sabbath covers with my metal band. For a time I even played with a Gibson SG 1961 reissue. But it was too far from the ones Iommi uses, which are extensively customized. So I went back to more "metal" guitars, like my Ibanez RG Prestige. I was obviously very interested when Guibson decided to make Tony Iommi signature models.
But I was also desappointed, because one main thing was missing : Tony Iommi, almost from the start of Black Sabbath, removed the original bridge to put a Badass-style one. Iommi always play with this kind of bridges, and I'm sure it is part of the metal that you get from these guitars. This is one of the main modification that a Tony Iommi SG (Gibson or Epiphone) should have, but you won't find it on these signature models.
