I received this guitar in the mail for my daughter. Liked the color and the design. The body, neck, and tuner/head seem to be well constructed. The guitar as delivered was not playable. That is, it could not be tuned. I had to take it to the repair shop and have an additional $50 setup and new strings ($12). They had to adjust the neck, tighten the tuners, clean up the frets and reset the intonation (sp?). The intonation was the main reason the guitar could not be tuned. The strings need to be adjusted properly. They also had to work on the nut at the end of the guitar to get the action better. The action as delivered was pretty good, but after tweaking all the other features I am assuming the nut had to be adjusted. The guitar plays better, but still needs some adjustment but that will be taken care of I assume for free if I take it back to the shop. One of the strings kinda rattles a little probably due to the action being set too low, to allow for easier beginner playing.
